Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 February 2026
1. About Us
These terms apply to Template Lab, operated by Waseem Ilyas as a sole trader in the United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our").
Website: templatelab.uk
Email: hello@waseemilyas.uk
2. Scope and Acceptance
By using this website or purchasing our digital products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or buy products.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent/guardian, to purchase products from us.
4. Products and Storefront
We sell downloadable digital products including templates, guides, calculators, and reference assets. Purchases are processed via Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record), which handles checkout, tax collection, and order confirmation.
5. Pricing and Payment
Prices are displayed in the relevant currency at checkout. We may update prices at any time, but price changes do not affect completed purchases.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy and subject to their checkout terms and payment methods.
6. Digital Delivery
Products are delivered digitally (for example by download link and/or email) after successful payment. It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address and maintain access to compatible software for the file format purchased.
7. UK Consumer Cancellation Rights (Digital Content)
If you are a UK consumer, your purchase may normally include a 14-day cancellation period. However, for digital content supplied immediately, you agree that delivery starts right away and acknowledge that this means you lose your cancellation right once download/access begins (as permitted under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
8. Refunds and Faulty Digital Content
Because products are digital downloads, we generally do not offer refunds for change of mind. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If content is faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill, contact us at hello@waseemilyas.uk. Where required by law, we will repair, replace, or provide an appropriate refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Licence and Permitted Use
When you purchase a product, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the product for your personal use and internal business use.
- You may edit/customise files for your own projects or client deliverables.
- You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, share, or publish the original files as standalone assets.
- You may not claim ownership of our original materials.
- You may not use products in a way that infringes law or third-party rights.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, documents, designs, and product files remain our intellectual property (or that of our licensors). No ownership rights transfer to you.
11. Acceptable Use of the Website
You must not misuse this website (including introducing malware, scraping at abusive rates, trying to gain unauthorised access, or interfering with availability).
12. No Professional Advice
Products are educational/informational templates and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, or professional advice. You are responsible for obtaining professional advice suitable for your circumstances.
13. Availability and Updates
We may update, improve, or remove products and website features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to the above, our liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount paid for the relevant product.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data, except where this is not permitted by law.
15. Business Customers
If you purchase as a business, to the extent allowed by law, all implied warranties/conditions are excluded and your remedies are limited as set out in these Terms.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always posted on this page with the "Last updated" date.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in the UK, you may bring claims in the courts of your part of the UK. If you are a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
